Baja 1000 is coming soon
9/13/02 The Score Baja 1000 is coming up. Looks like the changed the date on it, backed it up a week. Right now, tentative plans are to attend the race. This is all based on my work schedule. Not sure what kind of schedule I will have in Nov. as it is constantly changing.
Some great news I have been hearing and reading online. Jimmy Vasser will be racing from CART fame. Also, Kevin Harvick and Robbie Gordon from NASCAR. Have heard that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be racing as well but I havent confirmed this anywhere. Just a rumor. Looks like will have some good media coverage. I am looking forward to going down there.
The BITD Parker 425 is coming up Feb 7 and 8th. The old Vtr Racing gang and VMAR Racing gang and Indio Dune Buggy gang is trying to get everyone together with the Indio Dune Buggy 5/1600. I have been in contact with Mike"Rellik"Molina and Dennis Sletton from 11 Bros. and will give out the info on this site as I get it.My problem is thats a very special weekend for me and I might not be able to make it. Currantly working on it and hopefully will be able to juggle things and make it happen. I am very excited, just wish the dates were different. I have been wanting to do this for quite a long time now and the time is right.This will be great to see all the old crew.What a reunion that will be. So far have heard Manfred and his gang will be there. Mike Molina and I [tentative] along with Darin and Barry, unconfirmed. Mike has to fly in from Milwaukee and I have to fly in from Texas.
